Who am I?

Welcome to The PR Practitioner. My name is Brian Camen. This is me….
In 2010 I left the sunny skies of Arizona for the great Midwest. I accept change easily because with change comes opportunity. I take pride in having lived in three different parts of the country.
Today, I’m a senior account executive on Ogilvy PR’s 360 Degree Digital Influence team. Prior to Chicago, I served as Public Relations Specialist at Thunderbird School of Global Management for 2 ½ years. Higher education PR is extremely rewarding.
I am an Arizona State (Go Devils!) alumnus. While at ASU, I held multiple PR internships. I interned at Sony BMG, Columbia Records, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Snell & Wilmer L.L.P., and the East Valley Tribune (part-time stringing job). I can honestly say the people I met while interning shaped me into the practitioner I am today.
I really enjoy digital media, public relations and writing. I hope you get something out of reading about my journey in this industry. Enjoy my blog and don’t hesitate to let me know what you think!

Hi, Brian!
I am a college student from Rowan University. My major is related to Public Relations,so I have this assignment to write about a real PR practitioner’s career, work, and comments on the trend of this profession. I am so excited to find your blog and learned a lot. So I’m wondering whether I can write about you in my assignment. I need your approval so that I wouldn’t commit infringement on your work. Please email me when you read this, because I still have some further questions to ask you. Thanks!
By the way, I am a Chinese student. So my English may not seem so authentic. I’m sorry for that.
Respectfully,
Lixin Gui
